Whilst walking across the fields around

my home village, there is a wonderful

view across the underlating fields,

towards Ely Cathedral in the distance.

It was not this that caught my eye one early morning last winter, but the bare fields, patterned with lines made by tractors. Several quick sketches followed and I hurried home totally inspired whilst formulating an idea: A set of four seasons - field line inspired pieces. Winter Field Lines won the award mentioned left. The most amazing part, I run workshops at Tindalls and demonstrate for them but they were not the judges. We were all surprised!
